The entire process surrounding an international move, from the first idea and discussion with family and friends, through all the steps of applications for College registration and immigration, finding a suitable position and then making the big transition, can seem daunting and confusing.
We would like to assure you that we have a skilled team of people who can help you through the process to make it as stress free as possible.
All international graduates now go through the same process of application to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba and PRCO (i.e. pre-assessment interviews, a four month orientation/assessment and, depending on the assessment outcome, beginning work).
Before starting any other applications, first ensure that you are eligible for registration with the College, and determine what steps you need to take to attain registration. If you are eligible but still need to write exams, you should start by making contact with the PRCO and College to make them aware of yourself and to tap into their resources.
It is wise to try to get as many of these separate applications and processes started as soon as possible.
